Salma Hayek was born on September 2, 1966. She is a Lebanese
and Mexican American movie performer, director and producer. She started her profession
in Mexico filming in the telenovela Teresa and go off on to celebrity in the
film El Callejón de los Milagros (Miracle Alley) for that she was chosen for an
Ariel Award. In 1991 she stirred to Hollywood and appears to fame with roles in
Hollywood films such as Desperado (1995), Dogma (1999), and Wild Wild West
(1999).
Her get through role was in the 2002 film Frida as Frida
Kahlo which she got an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Screen Actors Guild Award
and Golden Globe Award recommendation for Best Actress. The movie got

Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Children/Youth/Family Special
in 2004 for The Maldonado Miracle and received an Emmy Award nomination for

the ABC TV series Ugly Betty. She also guest role on the NBC comedy series 30
Rock from 2009 to 2013.
Hayek's fresh films comprise Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups
2 (2013), drama alongside Adam Sandler, and Puss in Boots (2011), which also
features previous collaborator Antonio Banderas, in which she is the voice of
the character 'Kitty Softpaws'.
